2 years and 4 months - wow! Where does time go?

Well, time is flying by and I need to catch my breath and update!

January 10, 2011 - our son James "Hayden" was born weighing 8.6 pounds and 21.5 inches long! He is a great baby - he eats well, sleeps fairly well, and is very laid back. He likes his sisters a lot and always wants to be in on the action. He is 4 months old now and is starting to babble a lot and is rolling over onto side all the time. He is a very happy baby and is growing way to fast! It seems like the milestones that took forever with the twins has flown by with him- somewhat unfair if you ask me!

The twins turned two in March! They are talking up a storm and are very into playing! They like to take care of their baby dolls. It is very cute- they have to change the baby diaper, and even imitate breast feeding the baby.

We are finally approaching summer here in the mountains- I am ready for the sunshine and lots of time outside with the kids this summer.

Work is good right now and seems to be picking up which I hope continues!

I am posting pics when Hayden was 5 weeks old that a fellow blogger took of our children which turned out awesome and she is great to work with as well! (so check her out):

Baby day - T minus 72 hours and counting

Well Baby Boy day is Monday January 10th at 7:30am unless he changes the plan in the next 72 hours!

I think we are as ready as you can be at this point! Just some last minute washing of things and organizing, but overall things are fairly ready. Work is done until I go back in 4 weeks, and all outside commitments are also all wrapped up!

I am so very excited to meet this little (I should say BIG) boy! I am ready to see how it is to feed, snuggle, change, love one newborn at a time :) My biggest fears are feeling torn with my time, attention, and love between all 3 kids. I know God gives you what you can handle, so I guess he is pretty confident that I can juggle this all with some sort of grace and humility. I will just have to wait and see.

The girls somewhat know that something is going on. The kiss and pat the "baby" in my belly. They place their baby-dolls int he swing and push the "baby" in the swing. They even have been taking the baby-dolls to bed, covering them up and sleeping right by them in their beds. Which all seemed oh, so encouraging until I help my neighbors newborn yesterday and Carley lost it big time! I guess we will see how they deal very soon!

More to come soon!
